Sleep Time Play app for iPhone and iPad

Sleep Time is the fourth of four Apps in Dr. Suzy Lederer’s I Can Play That book of pretend play. Sleep Time continues the practice of using special time words (first, next, and then, last) that pretend play sequences require. The child has already become familiar with the 4-part sequencing of a play activity. In this App as in the Bedtime App Teddy Bear has a new friend, a young boy, who gets to enjoy a new pretend play of getting ready for bed. This is an excellent way for parents to prepare the child for the bedtime routine which can often be difficult. Retelling the sequence in the game format after listening to the story the child is thoroughly familiar with the routine. By the end of this Sleep Time App the child is ready to go turn off the light and go to bed as he hugs his Teddy. This is also a great activity for exposing the child to a second language; Spanish for the English speakers and English for the Spanish speakers.

At any time during the story of Sleep Time you can click the small arrow in the left bottom corner and this will take you to the opening page. Once the last page (information page) is on the screen there is an exit button that will take you back to the opening page.
